Itess Newton here with a new discovery of tectonic plates!
On Wednesday 13th I had my presentation, I had been studying a topic of my choice that had to do with the earths movement and structure. I chose tectonic plates I loved the topic I chose because there is so much to learn about. I think I did pretty well at communicating but I think I could work on making mine stand out more.

A balanced meal what is that!
Well you’re in luck I’m going to tell you. It’s a meal that is good for your diet it is a mix of different food categories. It has certain amounts of food that you should eat daily. Here is a photo that shows a perfectly balanced meal.

Wow! Today we were learning about how Earth has changed over time. Well about 350 million years ago there was something called Pangea, it was when all the continents made up a giant continent. But over time the continents split. How, I hear you ask we’ll let’s find out.
There is something called tectonic plates which caused the continents to split. This happens because tectonic plates are like cracks in the earth which causes lava to push the continents away but you can’t notice it because it only moves 6 inches per year, wow that’s crazy!
So you’re moving right now and you don’t even notice it!
Today we did the car regatta. We all had an awesome time. I learnt how important teamwork is. Unfortunately we didn’t win, but it doesn’t matter we had fun. I think I was best at listening to others.
Today we were learning to solve problems by making models. We had to find out how many more balls we needed and how many more sticks. The answer was 3 for the balls, and the answer was 4 for the sticks. They were a bit wonky.
Last week it was the fun run. I had a really good day!
Today I was learning about rotation and revolution which explains the movement of the earth. Here is what I did.
Today we did something called Coach Approach, Coach Approch is half a day of all different sports. My favourite was hip hop, I learnt that you need to use your face and really exaggerate your knee movements and make sure you are really bouncing and relaxed.
